…Hi Everybody… and Goodmorning / -afternoon / – night

For 23-M
I’ve chosen again 2 animals I find beautiful and intriguing. The first one is in Zoo Amsterdam – Artis and the second one in my ‘own’ Zoo. Emmen – Wildlands.
The first one is called in my own language Hyacint-Ara
and the second one is called Stokstaartje.

Have a splendid, ♥-warming ABC-wednes-day / – week!

  1. Melody,

The bird reminds me of a parrot but you’re talking about someone who isn’t a bird watcher. lol The second critter kind looks like a prairie dog or maybe that’s just my magnified imagination. 🙂 What is the Stokstaartje sitting on? Is that an old gnarled tree? Now, you got me wondering, where do you live? Thanks for sharing & hosting today’s Mmmmarvelous fun!

    • Hi Cathy

That is fine, it indeed is a kind of parrot, one of many 😉

It looks like a prairiedog but it is a totally different kind of animal, these ones are meateaters… prairiedogs are plant/vedgetable/fruit-eaters. they are also larger, not by much but still.

Yes you’ve seen that allright too.

I live in Assen, the capital of the 3rd province in The Netherlands. Drenthe. Seen from top… the second one at the eastside of the country.

You are most welcome of course, it pleases me a lot to see that hyou like it so much.
